In this video I go through why I believe The iron cross from the don’t is one of the most under utilize strategies in craps

Thanks Jacob, rather than the dice influence aspect of this presentation, I prefer the math aspect, in that coming out you have 8 ways to lose, 3 ways to win, 1 push and 24 ways to set a point. There are insurance options, but the lay introduces a higher risk amount and the big red and 11 option would require 4 hits rather than 3 to achieve the same profit. So without insurance, or DI, you would roughly lose 1 in 4 come out rolls and win 1 in 12 over the long run. In a short run you can be lucky and dodge the come out losers and hit a few winners, or unlucky and dodge the winners and hit the losers. Similarly, once the point is established, you have 5 ways to lose the 6&8, v 31 winners, 4 v 32 for 5&9 and 3 v 33 for 4&10, with the added option of hard way bets for the even numbers. Again, you can be lucky, or unlucky in the short term, but over time the odds are in your favour. After the 3 hits, you also have the option of rather than reducing the DP, betting enough on the point to make hitting it a win and still have enough hedge available to have a small bet on some other box numbers. Whichever way you choose to play it, the math stacks up pretty well, an ability for DI would only be the icing on the cake. Cheers. Rob

In this video I do a short version of why you should focus on strategy 1st and dice control second

Thanks Jacob, a great demonstration for those who think they might be able to influence the dice, but have not yet mastered that skill. At the end of the day, until someone has actually mastered the skill of dice influencing, they remain a random roller and their best bet is a strategy which has the 7 as a winner. Until you can consistently improve your ratio of 7’s to more than 1 in 6 and I would want it to be at least double that, to 1 in 12, before I would call myself a dice influencer with any conviction, then I would stick to strategy. The other thing is you may perfect dice influence in your home set up, but then get to a casino that has different conditions such as: table size; table bounce; chips in landing zone; dice size; dice weight; available position at table; lighting; noise; pressure to actually perform; etcetera…You would then need to have the ability to adjust to all these variables. I do believe that some people may have this skill, but they would be very few and far between. I also firmly believe that I will never have that skill, so rather than deluding myself that I might, I’ll stick to strategy. Cheers. Rob

Here I talk a little bit about being in advanced craps player and show some of the concepts the more advanced player should employ!

This type of directed play is so smart so advanced! I totally see what you’re doing here. My favorite part is how after you established the DP and then saw a repeater, you played the horn and immediately placed every box number across (even the DP point number so that it now becomes a place winner), except the repeater where you layed enough to hedge your bets, for just a single roll. As long as you avoid the repeater (you’re a heavy favorite that any given box number will NOT roll three times in a row), you win with ANY box or horn number, or at least break even or come close to it if a 7 rolls. Then assuming neither the repeater nor 7 hit, you took down the large lay and most place bets and resumed your original, simpler DP cover bet strategy where you’re still the favorite. How brilliant to optimize every single roll!
